Before your first stay at Grotto Resort, the essentials are simple. Check-in is at 4:00 PM and check-out is at 11:00 AM, both contactless by text. Every guest must be 25 or older. There is no restaurant on site, so plan your meals around your suite's kitchenette and Branson's restaurants, which start less than 3 miles away.

Quick facts

  • Check-in: 4:00 PM (5:00 PM for same-day bookings)
  • Check-out: 11:00 AM
  • Arrival: contactless, with a gate code and suite code sent by text

  • Questions: 833-447-6886 or info@grottoresort.com

What time is check-in and check-out at Grotto Resort?

Check-in begins at 4:00 PM and check-out is at 11:00 AM. If you book on the day of arrival, check-in starts at 5:00 PM. That gives us time to prepare your suite.

How does contactless check-in work?

There is no front desk to stop at. Before arrival, you will receive a text with two codes: one for the gate and one for your suite. Drive in, park, and let yourselves in. If anything comes up on the way, call or email us.

One practical tip: save the text somewhere easy to find, and arrive with enough daylight to get your bearings on your first visit.

Is Grotto Resort adults-only?

Yes. Grotto is an adults-only boutique resort, and every guest must be 25 or older. We built it for couples, so there are no children and no pets. The result is a quiet, private setting on the lake.

What's in every suite?

All ten suites are about 600 square feet, sleep two, and share the same essentials:

  • A view of Table Rock Lake
  • A king bed
  • A soaking tub in the bathroom
  • A kitchenette
  • A TV for movie nights in
  • Premium hair care products
  • Scandinavian-inspired, minimalist design

Select premium wines and spirits are also available in-suite, subject to inventory.

Which suite should we choose?

  • Cavern Suites (2), from $550 per night: built into the natural stone hillside, with a private veranda and a private hot tub overlooking the lake. Cave 1 has a waterfall curtain over the balcony.
  • Nest Suites (3), from $450 per night: treehouse-style, raised about 20 feet, with a private veranda, a private hot tub and panoramic views.
  • Deckhouse Suites (5), from $350 per night: ground-level private pavilions with their own entrance and veranda. Deckhouse 1 through 4 have private two-person hot tubs. Deckhouse 5 has a private hammock instead. One Deckhouse is ADA-accessible.

If stairs or accessibility matter, call us before you book and we will point you to the right suite.

What isn't offered on site?

Grotto is intentionally small and private. There is no pool, spa or massage service, restaurant, bar, room service or breakfast. There are also no fire pits or cabanas. The trade-off is space and quiet: your own veranda, your own view and, in most suites, your own hot tub.

How should we plan meals?

Think of your stay as part self-catered, part dining out.

Stock the kitchenette

A grocery run on the way in covers coffee, breakfast, snacks and a simple dinner on the veranda. Two convenient options:

  • Walmart Supercenter, 2050 W 76 Country Blvd. It lists hours of 6 AM to 11 PM daily, with grocery pickup and delivery.
  • ALDI, 1231 Branson Hills Parkway.

Ordering pickup the morning of your drive saves time once you are in town.

Book dinners out

The Branson Strip is less than 3 miles away, and Branson Landing is about 10 to 15 minutes by car. For a special night, Level 2 Steakhouse at the Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel takes reservations for dinner nightly. For more ideas, see our guide to Branson restaurants. On fall and holiday weekends, reserve ahead.

What should we pack?

  • Swimwear and flip-flops for the hot tub
  • Layers. Lake evenings cool off quickly in fall and winter.
  • Comfortable shoes for trails and Branson Landing
  • Groceries or a pickup order, plus any favorite coffee
  • A book, a deck of cards or a playlist. The point is to unplug.
  • Show or dinner confirmations, saved offline

Premium hair care products are already in your suite, so you can leave those at home.

What is the cancellation policy?

Your deposit is refundable, less a $25 fee, up to and including 21 days before arrival. If your plans might change, keep that date in mind when you book.

How do we book, and can we buy a gift card?

Book directly on grottoresort.com or by phone at 833-447-6886. Gift cards are available by phone only. For anything this page doesn't cover, visit our FAQs or contact us.

We'll see you at the lake

A first stay goes best with a loose plan, a few groceries and nowhere in particular to be. Unplug. Relax. Connect.

Thank you!
